Logan Motorway Eastbound Pavement Rehabilitation

McIlwain delivered pavement rehabilitation works along the eastbound Logan Motorway, including the Formation Street exit ramp to Beaudesert Road / Mount Lindesay Highway Interchange, staged under live traffic to minimise disruption.

Contract Administrator Transurban engaged McIlwain for a 62-day program with works staged in three main areas: temporary crossover construction to facilitate contraflows, full-depth pavement rehabilitation of ramps and carriageways, and median earthworks with vee-drain installation. Detailed planning enabled concurrent median drainage and subsoil works prior to pavement reconstruction. Pavement rehabilitation and overlays were delivered over staged weekend closures with traffic contra flowed onto one lane, ensuring safe operations for daily traffic volumes of up to 100,000 vehicles. The project was successfully completed on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.
