Bruce Highway Hodgson Road Intersection

McIlwain upgraded the Hodgson Road intersection along the Bruce Highway, to improve safety, traffic flow, and resilience of the local road network.

The works involved realigning Hodgson Road and widening the Bruce Highway while managing multiple constraints, including close proximity to existing buildings, an operational railway crossing, and ongoing highway traffic. Stormwater drainage infrastructure was upgraded with new and modified culverts, and vibration management was implemented to protect surrounding structures. Landscaping, fencing, and signage reinstatements were implemented to enhance community amenity.
