Anzac Avenue Bus Stop Upgrade

McIlwain delivered new and upgraded bus stops along Anzac Avenue, Kippa Ring, while ensuring bus services remained operational throughout construction.

McIlwain was engaged by the Department of Transport & Main Roads to improve commuter safety and accessibility at Anzac Avenue bus stops outside Peninsula Fair Shopping Centre. Careful staging and coordination with multiple subcontractors ensured minimal disruption to bus operations and safe pedestrian access, particularly for vision and mobility-impaired commuters. The project was delivered on time, to budget and successfully enhanced public transport infrastructure in the area.
