Coomera Connector Stage 1 Central

As part of South East Queensland's largest road infrastructure project, McIlwain is contributing to the delivery of the Coomera Connector Stage 1 Central package, a major transport investment designed to improve connectivity, increase network capacity and support the region's continued growth.

Stage 1 is a $2.16 billion jointly funded initiative of the Australian and Queensland Governments, delivering a vital alternative north-south transport corridor between Coomera and Nerang. The Central package extends from Helensvale Road, Helensvale, to the Smith Street Motorway, Molendinar, and forms a key component of the broader project. Once complete, the upgrade will improve safety, enhance network efficiency, increase traffic capacity, reduce congestion and interchange queuing, improve travel times, and support long-term economic growth across the northern Gold Coast.
