Noise Management Program Phase 2

McIlwain delivered Phase 2 of Transurban Queensland’s Noise Management Program, replacing existing noise barriers along the Gateway and Logan Motorways while maintaining safe, high-volume motorway operations.

Following the successful completion of the Logan Motorway Pavement Rectification Phase 2, McIlwain was awarded a $7.1 M design and construct contract to replace noise barriers at 14 locations on the highly trafficked motorways which carry up to 32,000 vehicles per day. Careful planning, effective interface management and strong client collaboration minimised disruption, coordinated activities with adjacent contractors and supported successful engagement with neighbouring properties.
