The project consisted of upgrading the Hodgson Road intersection with the Bruce Highway situated 3.33km north of Innisfail.

The work involved; the realignment of the Hodgson Road intersection; widening of the Bruce Highway, installation of new and modification of existing stormwater drainage infrastructure; new pavement construction; extension of the existing railway crossing; new signage and delineation.  Due to the close proximity of existing buildings McIlwain successfully implemented our vibration management plan to ensure there were no adverse environmental effects as a result of the construction processes.
