The final girders have been installed over the Hunter River as part of the Tourle Street bridge project.

Last week the final 15 girders weighing up to 80t each were placed using a 600T crane working from a barge in the Hunter River. This significant milestone marks the completion of works in the water and focus will now switch to the completion of the remainder of the superstructure of the bridge including reinforced concrete deck, parapets, services and surfacing.
